Verizon Communications, signed a five-year lease for nearly 100,000 SF in White Plains for its new FIOS services operations, as well as for customer support, a call center and staff training.

The Metropolitan Transit Authority purchased a 77,000 SF office building in White Plains for $15.5 million.

Xand Corp., a data center infrastructure and business continuity provider, nearly doubled in size by signing a new lease for 43,632 square feet of space in Hawthorne, New York. The company now leases nearly 90,000 square feet at the Mid-Westchester Executive Park.

UBS Financial Services expanded its presence in Westchester County by signing a lease for 29,028 square feet of space at 709 Westchester Avenue in White Plains.
